Required Equipment for Patrol Rifle class:
- Rifle – The class is based on AR-15 type of rifle. However we had had various types of semiauto platforms. Bring what you have.
- Caliber – 5.56/223, 300 BO, etc. are the most common.
- Rifle sling – Single or dual point attachment. Dual preferred.
- 300 rounds plus for the rifle
- Handgun with 100 rounds and a holster
- Shooting mat or ground cover
- Eye and ear protection
- Ball cap
- Rain gear (just in case)
- Water and food
- Optic- Red Dot, holographic, iron – A magnified hunting scope will not be good for this class.
- LPVO 1-6, 1-8, etc. is also acceptable.
- Handgun holster – IWB. OWB, Appendix - Duty worthy, not a nylon sock. No Blackhawk Serpa 2 types. You may be shooting prone, so appendix may be painful.
- Rifle Magazines – at least 3
- Handgun magazines – 2
- Handgun Mag holster preferred
