Commission Officer | Level 3 - Private Security Training

• 4 day (First Wednesday thru Saturday of each month)
• Minnesota Multiphasic Personality inventory (MMPI)
• All original and renewing applicants for a commissioned security officer license are required to complete the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).   
  • if an individual is currently licensed as a personal protection officer and commissioned security officer, we will use the MMPI on file to satisfy the requirement to submit the MMPI when they renew the commission license

OC SPRAY CLASS

• Part of Level 3 training or a separate 2 hrs. class for those who already have their Level 3 training.

COST: $50 FOR THOSE OUTSIDE OF TRAINING A REGULAR LEVEL 3 CLASS.  INCLUDED IN LEVEL 3 TRAINING.

Personal Protection | Level 4 - Private Security Training

• 2 days (Third Friday and Saturday of each month)

COST: $200 (Fri/Sat training only)

Private Security Licensing and Fees

• Commissioned Licensing/Level 3 (PSB-38-A) - $57
• Veteran cost for licenses are $7 each
• Fingerprints/background checks - $28.50 x 2 depending on when applications are submitted.
• FAST Electronic fingerprints an additional - $10 (pay at time of service - faster processing time)
• PPO Licensing/Level 4 (PSB-12 Bodyguard) -$57
• MMPI - Declaration of Physiological and Emotional Health | GSS Psychologist charges $200
• GSS - Badge - $30

Advance Handgun Training | MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH LEVEL 3 TRAINING WITH GATEKEEPERS

• 1 day - 6 hrs. (call for dates)
• Types of Semi-Auto Handguns: Condition of Carry
• Where the Defensive Handgun is to be Holstered
• Fundamentals of Shooting (Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Grip, Stance, Breathing & Trigger control)
• Proper Weapon Handling and Manipulation (Loading and Reloading both Proactive and Reactive)
• Malfunctions / Stoppages and Keeping the gun running
• The Modern Technique / 4 point Draw
• Isolation Drills: Finding the shooters weakness and focusing on correction.
• Target Acquisition and Transition Drills
• Firing positions: All Standard Platforms & Transitioning Patterns.
• Cover vs. Concealment and firing from behind Barricades
• Incapacitation Drills
• End with Tactical Movement Drill using Barricades, Steel & Paper Targets (Shoot then Move).

COST: $200 per person 

Patrol Rifle Training - 

MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH ADVANCED HANDGUN TRAINING WITH GATEKEEPERS

• 1 day - 6 hrs. (call for dates)
• Handgun of choice with holster attached to belt and 100 rounds of ammo. 
• Rifle, 300 rounds of ammo with sling.  At least two rifle magazines.
• Ear and eye protection and ball cap. 
• If you want a protective mat or towel to lay on, please bring as well.
• Water to stay hydrated.
