Bryan Gray is a Department of Homeland Security Protective Security Advisor (PSA) assigned to the North Texas District. He serves as a security and resiliency subject matter expert and is the link between State, local, tribal, and territorial organizations and DHS infrastructure mission partners. PSAs perform vulnerability and security assessments on a variety of Critical Infrastructure to identify security gaps and potential vulnerabilities as well as coordinate training and supports special events and incident management.
Bryan was previously the FEMA Region 6 Law Enforcement Liaison where he promoted information sharing and relationship building between emergency management, law enforcement, critical infrastructure operators, and intelligence agencies to increase prevention and protection within FEMA Region 6.
Prior to his assignment to FEMA Region 6, Mr. Gray served as the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence & Analysis Mississippi Intelligence Officer.  In this role, he was responsible for providing intelligence support to the State and Local Fusion Center, the State Homeland Security Advisor, as well as Federal, State, Local and Tribal Law Enforcement.  
A native of Amarillo, Texas, Bryan served in the United States Army from 1989 – 2009, holding a variety of positions of increasing responsibility throughout his career. Mr. Gray served in many units to include 4th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne), 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Infantry Division, 10th Mountain Division, 4th Infantry Division, and the Battle Command Training Program.  Highlights included deployments to Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Uphold Democracy (Haiti), Operation Joint Forge (Bosnia), Operation Joint Guardian (Kosovo), and two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Bryan is featured in Hunting Down Saddam: The Inside Story of the Search and Capture by Robin Moore, Ace in the Hole documentary sponsored by the Military Channel, On Point II by the Combat Studies Institute, We Got Him! by Steve Russell, Readers Digest, Soldier of Fortune Magazine, and a documentary done by the Military Intelligence Historical Institute for his role in the capture of Saddam Hussein. 
Bryan’s military awards include the Legion of Merit, three Bronze Stars, a Joint Service Commendation Medal, two Meritorious Service Medals, eight Army Commendation Medals, six Army Achievement Medals, various campaign medals, and the Army Parachutists Badge. 
Bryan completed an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree, as well as a Certificate in Homeland Security from Excelsior College in New York, and a Master of Science degree from Bellevue University in Nebraska.  He is also a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College. 
In civic life Mr. Gray enjoys boating, camping, BBQs, family and friends.  He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion.
